Village Office Closure Notice- May 18, 2026

Rooted in Service. Powered by Community.
Public Works professionals are the backbone of our community. They keep our roads safe, our water reliable, our parks beautiful, and essential services running smoothly every day.
Whether it’s early mornings or late nights, rain or shine, their work often happens behind the scenes, but its impact is felt across the entire Village of Clive.
This week, we’re proud to recognize and thank our dedicated Public Works team: Steve, Kory, and Erik for their hard work, commitment, and the care they put into keeping Clive running strong.
If you see one of our crew members around town this week, be sure to give them a wave or a thank you
They help make Clive a great place to call home.

The Village of Clive advises residents that Central Alberta Seal Coating will be in town completing crack sealing work as part of routine road maintenance.
Please stay clear of all equipment and work areas for your safety and the safety of workers.
Residents are reminded to pick up after their dogs and dispose of pet waste properly in garbage bins.
Please be respectful of your neighbours and public spaces by keeping yards, sidewalks, and parks clean. Pet waste left behind is unsightly, creates odours, and can pose health risks to people and other animals.
Thank you for doing your part to keep the community clean and enjoyable for everyone.

In the event of an emergency or fire, call 911 immediately.
Do not call the Village Office, as it is not monitored 24/7 and cannot dispatch emergency services. Calling 911 ensures your call is routed directly to trained emergency responders for the fastest possible response.
Property Maintenance Reminder
The Village of Clive is reminding residents that property owners are responsible for keeping yards and properties clean and free of garbage, debris, and unsightly materials pursuant to Bylaw No. 420-98 – Unsightly and Nuisance Bylaw.
Residents are asked to please:
• Remove accumulated waste and debris
• Dispose of garbage and large items properly
• Maintain yards to help keep Clive safe, clean, and welcoming
Please note that unsightly properties may be subject to enforcement action under the bylaw.
Waste and large items can be taken to the Prentiss Landfill during operating hours.
Thank you for doing your part to help keep Clive looking its best.

Clive Fun Fest: Good Old-Fashioned Fun , Just Like You Remember.

On April 28, we observe the National Day of Mourning; a time to remember and honour those who have lost their lives, suffered injuries, or experienced illness as a result of their work.
This day also serves as an important reminder of our shared responsibility to protect workers and promote safe, healthy workplaces. Together, we can commit to preventing future tragedies and ensuring that everyone returns home safely at the end of the day.
The Village of Clive encourages all residents and businesses to take a moment to reflect and recognize the importance of workplace safety.
