Well, hello winter!
It looks like Mother Nature decided to give us a little preview of what’s to come! While today’s snow likely won’t stick around, it’s a great opportunity to share a friendly reminder about snow removal under the Village’s newly adopted Community Standards Bylaw #578-26.
A few things to keep in mind as we head into winter:
❄️ Property owners are responsible for clearing snow and ice from adjacent sidewalks within 48 hours of accumulation.
❄️ Snow and ice cannot be pushed or deposited onto public roads, sidewalks, or other public spaces.
❄️ Please keep storm drains clear and avoid piling snow where it may interfere with drainage or emergency access.
We know today’s snowfall is probably just a sneak peek, but a little reminder now helps everyone prepare for the season ahead!
