The Village of Clive recently completed an energy-efficient lighting retrofit at the Fire Hall, replacing existing lighting with more efficient fixtures throughout the facility.
It’s a practical upgrade that will help reduce electricity use and operating costs while providing better lighting for the Fire Hall and the people who use it.
The Village received $5,768.36 in funding support from the Government of Alberta through the Municipal Climate Change Action Centre’s Community Energy Conservation (CEC) program to help make the project possible.
A special thank you to Benjamin with BW Electric, a local Clive business owner, for his work on the project. We’re always happy when Village projects provide an opportunity to work with and support businesses right here in our community!
The Municipal Climate Change Action Centre is a partnership of Alberta Municipalities, the Rural Municipalities of Alberta, and the Government of Alberta. Funding for the Community Energy Conservation Program was provided by the Government of Alberta.
