My Husband Garth and I are the proud parents of two daughters, whom we raised here in Clive. We enjoy the “country living” atmosphere and look forward to its continued growth while maintaining the “Small Town” feel.
I became involved in my community volunteering my time where I could to help foster change and growth in an ever-changing world. As a mother, I sought involvement within the community that enveloped my children, which led me to the greater part of the whole.
I am honoured to be your Mayor and I believe in working as a team, which not only includes other Councilors’, Village staff and surrounding communities but most importantly the people who we represent YOU! I’m excited to be part of the Municipal team and hope to represent all the diversity in our area.
I have enjoyed working for the residents of Clive for the last four years. I plan to continue to work on growing our community by working to build partnerships with businesses and other communities. We have a beautiful village with a great sense of community and I would like to see us continue to be vibrant and alive in the future.
For those that do not know me, I have lived in Clive for the better part of 20 years with my wonderful husband DJ. We have two children who attend Junior High here in Clive. There is nowhere else we would rather call home. I currently work part time at a small gym in Lacombe as a Sales and Marketing agent and my husband works in the oil and gas industry.
I am an active community member volunteering on many Community boards, with a particular interest in libraries. I am the current Clive Council Representative for the Clive Public Library, a Board member of the Parkland Regional Library, and a member of the Parkland Regional Library Advocacy Committee. I also sit on the Clive Hall Board and have served on the board for Clive Little Red Hen Playschool for the past 11 years.
I have enjoyed the current term on Clive Council with all the ups and downs the last four years has brought to the table. It has been very rewarding being an advocate for Clive for the last 4 years. There are definite signs of change all around us and I’ve really enjoy watching how Clive has evolved over the years. I would love to continue advocating for Clive, our businesses and for you and respectfully ask for your vote on the upcoming election on October 18th 2021.
Hi! I’m Sarah Fahey, I have lived in Clive the last 9 years. My husband Andrew and I welcome our son into the world in 2019 and when I’m not in full time Mom mode, I work part-time in Administration at Centennial Centre and this year became a small business owner – selling BC fruit & local veggies at our village fruit stand. The past few years I have become more exciting about getting involved in my community. We love Clive and are excited to raise our family here. I look forward to working with residents and business to grow and make the most of our wonderful village amenities. I’m excited to bring a new voice to council!
Hello Village of Clive! I was raised in Clive and was asked to run for Council so I put my name in. Council has always done a fantastic job here in Clive and I would like an opportunity to be a part of it. I feel that Council should work together to move forward and keep up with the changing times.
Clive is an aesthetically beautiful community of approximately 715 residents and is maintaining steady growth. Located in Central Alberta just 15 minutes east of Lacombe and only 30 minutes from Red Deer, we are an affordable and ideal spot for an enjoyable country living atmosphere yet have quick access to all amenities.
Clive itself hosts numerous services and facilities – Hotel, Banking services, Post office, Grocery store, Motel, Sports Bar, Arena, Curling rink, skateboard park, catering business, soccer field and baseball diamonds are just some of our advantages, not to mention our service clubs and volunteers and a fire department which is second to none.
We are also proud of our K-9 Clive School which is known to be one of the very best in all of Alberta!
We welcome you to consider our Village to be your next home or even the site of your business venture, as we also have room for commercial and industrial growth!
Drop in for a visit!
You’ll be glad you did!
Mayor Luci Henry
