Reminder to Trim Overhanging Trees and Shrubs

Residents are reminded that it is the owner or occupant’s responsibility to ensure that their trees, shrubs and bushes are properly trimmed and cut back to prevent obstruction on the sidewalk, alleys, or streets to pedestrians or vehicles. Thank you for your cooperation keeping our roadways and sidewalks clear. As stated in Traffic Bylaw #499-12, a minimum clearance of 7.5 feet must be maintained above sidewalks, and 13.5 feet above alleys and roads.
