Every day gives us a chance to check in, listen, and make every conversation count—especially as we recognize World Suicide Prevention Day.

In Canada, around 4,500 people die by suicide each year—that’s about twelve lives a day. Even more people struggle silently, and suicide attempts are far more common. Men and young adults are among those most affected.

Here in Clive, we can all play a role in supporting one another. By starting conversations, reducing stigma, and sharing resources, we can help create a community where no one feels alone. Even small acts of kindness and compassion can provide hope.

👉 If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out. Help is available:
📞 Dial 9-8-8 for mental health and suicide prevention support in Canada.

Together, as a community, we can create hope through action.
